Dr. Boruff--horrible disappointment
Having waited four long months for my appointment with Dr. Boruff, I am extremely sorry to report that he was a horrible disappointment, shaming and blaming me for my primary medical issue (diabetes), which he claims on his physician profile is one of his primary clinical interests. I have no idea why others have said that he is a good listener. I did not find him so. In fact, I would have liked for him to look up from his computer screen once in a while and actually engage with me. He did not. Dr. Boruff fails to recognize that primary care is not all about data collection; connecting with people is a central part of primary care. Moreover, he admitted to being 'harsh' with me because, he claimed, he 'cares' about me. That is the kind of thing that abusers say to their victims.

Dr Jeff has been my MD almost since the time he began practicing medicine in Knoxville. When I first met him I honestly expressed that I wanted a Christian DR and I wanted a Dr who didn’t make me wait. He has fulfilled those promises and so much more. He is a superb practitioner. He has helped me to navigate through some very difficult medical issues and I am forever grateful. He’s become more than my Doctor, he is my friend. I have learned that I can trust completely.

Dr. Boruff is the most caring, capable doctor I've ever had in the internal medicine field. I was with him for about 16-17 years when I lived inn Knoxville. I regretted leaving him when I moved to Texas. I have many allergies, and Dr. Boruff took such care in medicating me. I thank God for this godly, excellent physician.
