Covers his bases, that's all.
He confirmed the diagnosis from the Dr. I was sent to, requested imaging to determine the cause. I was happy with results, until I requested the radiologists interpretation of my MRI. There I discovered a lipoma in my brain that I hadn't been made aware of. Considering he knew I've dealt with near-daily headaches for 5 years, the most common symptom for this condition, this would have been great to know. It became clear to me he was only looking for one thing in the MRI and when he didn't find it, he didn't bother to further understand anything else I had going. on. I know he is a Neuro-ophthamologist therefore headaches are not his specialty, but letting me know so I could make an informed decision about moving forward would, have made me more confident in receiving care from him moving forward. His office staff are very friendly, but nobody is on the same page about anything. They frequently contradict each other.

I have been dealing with double vision for over 2 years while wearing prisms in my lenses. Last week Dr Blatt performed strabismus surgery on both eyes to correct my double vision. Tonight one week later was my first night driving - I did this without fear - my depth perception improved 100% and everything looked so crisp and clear! I no longer have to drive in fear trying to decipher how far away a light is or a car and I have no more double vision!!!! I feel like I have a new lease on life!

Dr. Blatt fixed my husband’s strabismus that he had been dealing with since he was a baby. My husband had multiple previous surgeries but none of them worked, until we went to Dr. Blatt. He does have a dry sense of humor which might rub some people the wrong way but he is an amazing doctor.

Dr. Blatt successfully treated my double alternating Strabismus. The surgery was flawless and healed beautifully. He was always compassionate, caring and explained everything thoroughly. He showed concerns for my other medical conditions, got me in to see a nearby specialist for those conditions and he now manages my vision tests required for medications I am on. Very pleased with the care received.

Absolutely terrible. I'm sure he is great at what he does, but is extremely cold. He should have stayed with adults. No compassion towards a scared child, didn't even try and make my child comfortable, didn't even say hello or anything to my child either. Steer clear, we have found a much better physician.

Dr. Blatt does the most thorough eye exam I've had. It is not fun having your eyes dilated and it takes a lot of his time to do the exam, but he insists and does a good job. I enjoy seeing the young children who obviously feel real comfortable in his office as they head straight to the play room as mom or dad sign them in.

Very disappointed with this visit. Dr.Blatt only spent a total of 3 minutes looking over our baby before he left the room. No explanation of anything with very short answers to our questions. I truly have to question his capabilities as a doctor and professional. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Blatt was very cold and dismissive. He never looked us in the eye, spoke to us very condescendingly, and would interrupt me when I was trying to share information about my daughter's issue. I did not get the impression that he cared about us at as patients. He processed us through like animals. He offered no definite information about our child's eye problem. The remedy that he recommended caused her a great deal of pain, left a scar by her eye, and worst of all, it did not work. Horrible.

Made an appointment with Dr. Blatt and when we arrived it was with a Dr. Merrymen which we were not informed about in advance. She is not an ophthalmologist which we were not informed about either. I requested Dr. Blatt. She is not in our Cigna network so they billed us 110.00. We had terrible service and Dr. Blatt did not care one bit that we were not informed and charged us anyway. Our co-payment had we seen Dr. Blatt would have been $10.00. Terrible business standards, never going back.
