Dr. Sorcini, along with his surgical partner Dr. David Canes, led a team of most professional doctors and nurses as they treated me for bladder cancer. You simply could not be in better hands.

Dr. Sorcini performed a nephrectomy on me when I donated my left kidney to a friend in need. While the kidney removal went well, his follow-up care was terrible. I was in the hospital for a full week after surgery and lost 20 lbs in that week. I was very sick from anesthesia and pain medications, was unable to injest practically anything without vomiting. Dr Sorcini visited me once in that week. During the 6-month checkups I repeatedly pointed out pain and swelling in the incision. He cursorily examined the incision and at the 12-month follow-up went so far as to tell me I needed more exercise. Finally at the 18-month checkup he admitted I needed surgery to repair an incisional hernia. In fact I had a double hernia and suffered tremendous pain due to this second surgery and recovery. He never came to see how I was doing and never acknowledged his error. I would never recommend Dr. Sorcini.

He's the best. I recommend him to everyone. There is a perfect performance, minimal gab, careful observation, and just the right questions. Wall-invasive bladder cancer resolution. An eight-hour neobladder surgery that required going back in through an old wound. And I didn't even need a transfusion. Nothing short of miraculous. Surgical perfection, and he holds his team to that standard.

Dr. Sorcini performed a life-sparing robotic radical prostatectomy to removal my prostate a year ago. His staff was very commendable in care and counsel throughout. They discussed and explained all aspect of surgery and recovery that gave me a true sense of peace and strength. He is skillful and I thank him for the “second chance” of life. After one year, I’m cancer free and I am moving forward with big strides of confidence for a long life. I cannot thank him enough for a Job Well Done!

I lost faith in Dr. Sorcini, he could not answer my question about why I was graded as a level 5 patient. He had me going every 3 mos. for biopsy on my bladder. A second and third opinion from 2 different urologist confirmed that there is nothing in my bladder to confirm pre-cancerous problems. I was paying $290 as a co-pay every time I went to Sorcini and use of the facility room at Lahey. I have a new doctor & my co-pay is $30 for the office visit every 6 mos & she confirmed no pre-cancer!!

Great Man Great Doctor. He made my experience of him taking out my kidney a walk in the park.
