I had surgery with Dr Thosani. I had very complicated hiatal hernia and I felt he and his team were excellent. They also spent extra time making sure after that everything was going great. Best surgeon

We have never met this Dr and did surgery on my spouse. His lack of personal attention and common medical courtesy leaves much to be desired. No interaction post op either. I’m not sure I would recommend him to family and friends due to this lack of regard for his patients.

Dr. Thosani is very caring very interested in your situation. Had several doctors review my case and it was unanimous that I have surgery. He recommended a surgeon and oncology surgeon here again was magnificent. Save my life thank you Dr. Thosani and Dr. Modasi the surgeon I have recommended him and the one that went to him Said he was very highly qualified. I agree. He came and talked with my daughter and explained everything we were well kept informed the follow up was very good. Best Dr EVER!!! Goes the Xtra mile for his patients. As an INTERVENTIONAL GI doctor, Dr. Thonsani is skilled to do a vast amount of different procedures than a regular GI. Dr. Thonsani will have ur back when your health warrants it.....

Dr Thosani treated me on a complicated health problem. He explained the procedures in detail and answered all my questions taking time to make sure I had a complete understanding of the procedures. I highly recommend him.

After the diagnostic procedure, where patient is given a deep sedation drug, the doctor did not have the courtesy to come speak to the spouse, leaving feedback on the procedure with the patient who is not 100% awake. Find a physician that hasn't booked his day so tight that he can't find time for a 2 minute conversation.

Dr. Thosani knows what he is doing and did my specialized procedure with no issues and the best care posslible.

His follow up service is a disaster. Doesn't reply back on My Chart. Scheduling department is not helpful at all. He just seems to want to do the surgeries but no after care. I can't recommend him at all. I had to go to urgent care who sent me to the ER at Osborn and they couldn't get a response from his office. Even my primary care Dr. couldn't get a call back. I hope Honor Health looks into his practice.

Dr. Thosani was punctual and explained the procedure very well. He was professional and I'm very pleased with his care, the anesthesiologist, nursing and Honor Health's admin staff.

By doing an annual mri on my pancreas, a mass was found on my kidney, which was cancer. I was fortunate to have the mass removed and kidney saved. Thank you Dr Thosani for always following up with me.

EXTREMELY unprofessional office. We've been waiting for biopsy results for a week. Were promised a call back from the doctor by today. When no one called, we called in again and were told that the doctor has now left for 5 days. When we asked to speak to someone else, the woman on the phone LAUGHED at us - like it was some joke. I would never recommend this office to anyone.

I had an endoscopic procedure with Dr Thosani. I can only say that he is amazing. The experience was professional, well timed to my concerns, and thorough. I felt his expertise and knowledge were presented in a very caring manner. I would highly recommend

If I could rate them lower I would. I was referred to Dr. Thosani onJanuary 1st 2020 after being hospitalized because my esophagus was swollen closed. I have called the office to find out about scheduling an appointment on 14 occasions, and my original Dr office called 3 times. Half of the time when you call you spend 15 + minutes on hold before speaking to someone, then they transfer you so you can leave a message. After leaving a message you will receive a call back about every other time. After waiting to be scheduled for 73 days they’re now no longer seeing new patients. Although my referring doctor is in this practice and has been my attending in the hospital twice. If possible you should see a different doctor or office

My wife had a procedure scheduled with Dr. Thosani at 1:00 pm. She had a reaction to the enema prep (due to a bowel obstruction) and became very ill. I called the office for help and they told me to take her to the ER. We arrived at the ER about an hour and a half before her scheduled procedure. I again called the office and told them we are downstairs in the ER. We were in the ER during the time her procedure was scheduled, so we assumed the doctor would come down to check on her condition, but he never showed up. Instead, the office called to schedule an appointment for the following Monday with Dr. Thosani’s PA. (No Thanks!) Less than 36 hours later we were back in the ER when my wife was immediately admitted. Thank God her regular doctor was notified and he came in and immediately scheduled and administered the procedure himself.

Dr. Thosani is one of the finest Dictors my husband has ever had. He is very precise in doing procedures and thorough. He is also very caring about his patients.

Dr Amar Thosani saved my life. His staff was amazing working with me when I was going through a very difficult time in my life. I just want to thank everyone, especially Kaitlyn for everything. They helped me with my new chance at life. Thanks!

Please listen very carefully. Dr Thosani is an amazing doctor........he is knowledgeable, caring, a great Listener, yes it may take a while to get an appointment but let me tell you it is worth the wait.... If you are looking for a doctor that is always that treats you like a drive thru patient he is not the one for you. BUT if your looking for a Dr that treats you like your his only patient. Have some consideration for his time and let him be the great Dr that he was trained to do. Thanks.

Phenomenal doctor that took my complicated case when others wouldn’t. He is always prompt, returns phone calls personally, and does his best to provide optimal patient care. His office staff are kind and compassionate, his assistant (Christine) is always helpful and returns phone calls within 24-hours. I have over 10 current physicians and Thosani is one of the best and most personable, professional physicians I have encountered.

recommended by a doctor. was diagnosed before I arrived but was sent for bloodwork then told my previous MRI was needed. 2 weeks went by and finally I was called and told I needed to bring the MRI disc in. name/address on my chart consistently messed up. procedure started 2 hours late and Dr Thosani did not have my MRI disc. He had to review my disc now. Nervous I was put to sleep. Woke up and was told my symptoms were due to medication I wasn't taking. I think he was looking at the wrong chart

Dr. has too many patients, he has a young inexperienced PA as his go between. You can never get a hold of either the doctor or his PA even if it has to do with a scheduled procedure. I understand you want to make as much money as possible but not when it could be at the expense of your patients. I would go into the numerous mistakes that were made but there isn’t enough room in this comment section!
