HIGHLY RECOMMEND! AFTER I SAW 5 SURGEONS IN 3 STATES FOR A PAINFUL VERY LARGE INQUINAL HERNIA,AMD BEING REFUSED FOR SURGERY BECAUSE I HAVE 2 BLEEDING DISORDERS I WENT TO SEE DR AMANDA Ellington, after consulting with my awesome hematologist Dr. MICHAEL Broussard, she performed my surgery, she did an amazing job,no bleeding problems,and due to her patience and expertise was able to repair a very large complicated hernia repair laparoscopically and zero complications, I am eternally grateful to Dr. Amanda Ellington for returning me to a normal life,and to her entire staff who were so nice and accommodating I thank you as well

I had started my cancer journey at MD Anderson but due to insurance issues, I was no longer able to continue my treatments there. I was referred to Dr. Ellington and so thankful! She has been amazing. I find comfort in the fact I'm not a large facility and that I'm more than a medical ID #.

Was referred to Dr. Ellington regarding a lump on my chest. After testing she felt there were no concerns. I asked here if the lump was in my breast why did it not move with the breast and stayed on my chest area? She didn't seem concerned, that it was some kind of fatty tissue issue. I went home to the midwest for another opinion and have non-hodgken lympoma and currently taking chemo therapy. She did not take my concerns seriously and wasn't interested in following up.

Dr. Ellington is a wonderful addition to Memorial Hospital. She performed surgery on me shortly after she started at memorial. She is very professional, explains everything clearly and is compassionate, which is kind of rare with Dr's now. She also has a good support staff.
