I followed Dr. Carmel when she moved from Weill Cornell to the Health Center at Hudson Yards in 2019. This is because she is the most remarkable doctor I have ever had over 77 years. She listens with great care and great compassion, gives excellent medical advice, replies to any website questions I pose with no delay, follows all leads that might possibly help in a diagnosis. There is never a wait to see her and she is amazingly generous with her time. (The one-star review should be removed because the complaint about not getting an appointment with her is based on a misunderstanding. She was in the process of leaving one practice to join another at the time.)

I made my initial appointment with her November 2018. It is October 2019. I thought she was worth the wait. She has canceled and rescheduled several times, never taking into account how many times she is inconvenienced me. Today her office called and said she is leaving the practice. So, almost a year to NEVER see her. Maybe it was for the better.
