Dr. McCoy spent much more time with me than other physicians planning my surgery and explaining things to me and answering all my questions. I had an excellent surgical result and would highly recommend her.

I found out I had a large cavernous hemangioma tumor growing in my left eye that was only discovered out of no where because I noticed my eye was bulging in pictures . I had many appointments prior to surgery with Dr. McCoy trusting in her expertise and care. Not only was she late for my surgery that was supposed to be 2.5hrs, ended up being 4.5 hours because she cut my eye muscles thinking it was the tumor then realized the tumor was too big to retrieve so she had to close me back up because she couldn't figure out how to remove. I was referred to UCSD and a month and a half later the ophthalmologist was able to remove successfully in less than 2hr. After recovery, I was suffering with diplopia due to the cut eye muscles and have gone through 2 surgeries to try to fix Dr. McCoy's mistakes. So far I've had four (4) surgeries and may have to go through another one all because of Dr. McCoy. For a year and 10 months I've been suffering emotionally, physically and financially.
