Was Pleased
Dr. Chu was quick but thorough and explained what I needed to know. Only complaint would be that his paperwork address shows the hospital but he's actually in a completely different building so I ran around for 20min looking for him. Definitely recommend though.

Honest & Straight to the Point
Was referred to Dr. Chu by an orthopedic surgeon for EMG testing. Dr. Chu was very straight forward and to the point, discussing his findings as the tests progressed using laymen terms that most folks would easily understand. Not only testing my accident affected limb, he also tested the non-affected limb for comparison purposes. Dr. Chu was very thorough and detailed with in his actions explanations.

Absolutely great dr
The staff and Dr Chu are very professional. Dr.Chu has a great bedside manner when it comes to explaining and conducting an EMG test. Other times I had it done it was very painful. His advance knowledge of conditions I believe will help was going on with me. We have a plan inplace and that's what you want when seeing a new doctor. Five stars!

Dr Chu was referred to me by my orthopedic surgeon. After my exam he pointed out a few things that I felt had been overlooked by others who were less versed in his field.

Great experience
This was the best organized office I’ve been to in a long time. Efficient. But they were still very personable and professional. I didn’t feel like a walking wallet here. EMG was fast and he never left me wondering what was happening. 5 stars!!

Dr. Chu did my EMG - great doctor!
Dr. Chu did my EMG this week and was very kind and knowledgeable and test was relatively pain free compared to other EMG’s I have had in the past. He explained everything he was doing during the test, and went he the extra mile to help diagnose my issue. Would definitely recommend him! I also want to say thank you to his scheduler, as she worked hard to get me in as soon as she could and was so kind.

Excellent Dr.
Dr. Chu was the 3rd neurologist I had seen in the last 4 years. The first two gave me inaccurate diagnosis which resulted in ineffective treatment. Dr. Chu was able to figure out what the problem was that I've had for the last four years in a matter of minutes. He is a very sharp Dr. I'm now being treated for the appropriate illness resulting in an increase in quality of life that hasn't been matched in almost half of a decade. Ace Dr.!

1) He is a good doctor if he shows up. 2) He has a terrible staff. 3) He uses a terrible MRI provider. 1) I had already gotten the MRI which he ordered, and was rescheduled 2 times before his staff told me that he was no longer treating neurology patients, only sleep problems. I had to scramble for my MRI records and a new provider. 2) His staff is absolutely terrible. It takes a couple of weeks and multiple phone calls to simply get an MRI scheduled. Really. 3) His MRI provider is absolutely terrible. They double-billed my procedure (charged both me and my insurance company) for $900. It took me dozens of phone calls to everyone conceivable and a 6 months campaign to get my refund. Dr. Chu's staff never took 5 minutes to make a simple phone call on my behalf to try to resolve this.

Dr Chu is a specialist in both neurology and sleep disorders. I have been a patient/customer seeing Dr Chu for well over 20 for both specialties. My rating of 2 Stars is not about Dr Chu, or his abilities as a physician. My two stars go to his staff. His staff is ineffective, inefficient, and I’d say generally care more about payday and how not to give good, let alone great customer service and care. Many times over the years I’ve needed help with sleep apnea supplies and had questions for his staff. When I’d telephone for the needed help I’ve found no one on staff will ever pick up their phone and answer immediately. They will hide behind voicemail and only after my two or three followup calls later will they (maybe) return my call. If you want a good doctor go see Dr. Chu. I think he works hard, is very smart/knowledgeable, and does his best for his patients. On the other hand, his staff stinks. If you like poor staff service go see Dr Chu. Good luck.

Setting up my initial virtual visit was easy. Dr. Chu indicated that he would want to run some tests and that the office would follow-up. My appt. was Dec. 5th. I have yet to receive a returned phone call, email, or correspondence from the office. There are many neurologist in Houston. My suggestion is find one that has the staff and curiosity to follow-up.
