TLDR: He's a gift to Eugene, great to work with, and I highly recommend his office, especially for people who don't wanna (or can't) travel for gender-affirming surgery but still want to feel safe and comfortable with their doctor and their doctor's skill. Dr. Najafian and his office know what they are doing and they will make you feel safe and accounted for every step of the way. For context, I had gender-affirming top surgery and had a fantastic experience. I am incredibly happy with my results, my emotional experience was more than I could have asked for, and the accessibility of the office (and doctor) is truly out of this world- they communicate so well via phone and email regardless of big or small questions and they offer 24.7 human communication during recovery so you can relax. It is very difficult to find doctors who do gender-affirming surgeries, especially in 'smaller' cities. So grateful to have had such a gem for a doctor, wish the same for everyone else looking.

From the first person I met when checking in, to Dr. Najafian and Amy, my experience was full of care and compassion. I never felt self conscious or nervous, both things I was very concerned about when going into my first appointment. I had hated my body for about 30 years, had asked doctors and insurance to approve a breast reduction for a decade. Dr. Najafian never suggested I lose weight or try physical therapy. His initial assessment pointed out all things I had been struggling with for most of my life; poor posture, shoulder indentations, back pain. All without me having to explain why I may want or need smaller breasts. During surgery he had to remove bundles of cysts, even with a yearly mammogram I didn't know they were there due to the sheer size I was. Recovery was easy, and he stayed in touch with detailed instruction for my caregiver every step of the way. I cannot emphasize enough that Dr. Najafian and his team have improved my actual quality of life.

He understood what I wanted and made me comfortable with his expertise and excellent bed-side manner. I am returned to my beautiful self thanks to Dr. N's skilled hands and his amazing staff from the office to the surgery center.
