My exam, treatment experience
My Family Doc suggested I see a dermatologist based on a "bump" I scratched which bled. Additionally, I had developed a type of dermatitis on my knee, possibly based on how I cross my legs when sitting. I also noticed plantar warts on the sole of my foot which I had thought about mentioning to my family doc, but "didn't get around to it" since there was no pain involved. My visit with Dr. J went extremely well. Supporting cast in the office were very polite, I spent almost no time waiting, Health history & concerns quickly taken. Dr J entered the exam room, already well aware of what to examine. With excellent supportive bedside manner he left time to express my thoughts so I didn't feel rushed, unlike experiences where the main goal was to get you out of the facility as soon as possible. He took the time to explain the medical jargon he used to his note taking assistant so a non medical person I felt comfortable with the explanations. Overall, I would give Dr. J an A plus.

Great Experience
I recently changed dermatologist because the prescription given to me by my last dermatologist caused my acne to become worse and not better. Dr Jack explained why they were not working and put me on another regimen that seems to be working. I’m noticing less new breakouts. He was very kind and made sure I understood what went wrong and what he wanted to try. I’m glad I decided to change and see Dr. Jack!
