Dr. Alexander Akhavan, MD

I really disliked how rude this doctor was. He could care less about my health concerns. It feels like he just wants patients out right away. He did not offer any help at all. I would say look for another doctor who will actually listen and care.

Dr. Arkhavan is an animal! I was being treated at Sunrise hospital for kidney stones. He never controlled my pain. I felt the pain I had was inhumane. All he was concerned with was trying to get me to go home. He is rude and doubted my pain until another found what I was saying was true and found a serious cause of my pain.

I called 3 weeks in advance to see Dr. Akhavan. Even asked for name pronunciation. On the date of appointment was told, "HE DOES NOT PRACTICE HERE. ONLY OWNS THE OFFICE." Wasted my time, money and delay ofedical provider. SHAME ON THIS DOCTOR.

Do not allow this man to care for you or any of your family members. He mishandled my mother's treatment and then discharged her in worse condition to the hospital's rehab, where she went into cardiac arrest and died. If he has mishandled your care or a family member's care, file a complaint with the Nevada Medical Board, asap.

If I could leave zero stars I would. My dad passed away under this guys care. This guy has no regard for human life. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

Poor bedside manner, in and out. Poor eye contact with patient/ family.

Dr Akhaven was assigned as attending to my mother after she suffered a cardiac arrest at Sunrise hospital. He failed to familiarize himself with my mothers history, therefore did not have a clue on how to treat her. He was dismissive, arrogant and utterly atrocious to deal with. I found his choices dangerous and not in my mothers best interest. We fired him from my mothers case after learning we did not HAVE to deal with him. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone, not even my worse enemy
