Mostly incompetent and impersonal
Since she actually cares so little and wants to just hurry you out of the office, you can basically tell her anything to get what you want. She has zero personal skills, including just plain old eye contact. She's usually running as least 40 minutes late and doesn't seem to mind making you wait and then rushing through.

worth the long drive to appointments
Dr Kumosa takes the time to listen to my concerns, activities and interests and doesn't make your visit feel 'rushed' as is the case with some of my other specialists..

Thoroughly appreciate Dr Staar-Kumosa
I have been going to Dr Staar-Kumosa for a number of years now. I thoroughly appreciate the time she spends with me during my physicals/visits. Dr Staar-Kumosa makes sure I understand everything she talks to me about and makes sure she answers any questions I may have. She is a very warm, caring person. Dr Staar-Kumosa is someone that I definitely trust. I greatly appreciate all her medical information and interest in my health.

Dr Kumosa was our PCP for many years, and her expertise, caring, and warm personality is unsurpassed. We had to move from Colorado 5 years ago, and we still have not found a dotor that comes close to Dr Kumosa. Wish she did house calls.

Dr. Kumosa is an outstanding doctor and when we discuss my health concerns, she takes a personal interest in my vegan life style and understands how important a good diet is. She makes suggestions but is not eager to prescribe medicines. She knowledgable. She has even given me delicious recipes.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kumosa for 8 years. She is professional and attentive and has lead my husband and I through many hairy medical issues with knowledge and compassion. So Blessed.

I have been seeing Dr Kumsa for yearly exams for the last six years. With her guidance and recommendations I have my health back in control. I have never had any problem with the staff or scheduling appointments. Wait times have been minimal.

Dr. Kumosa is thorough and friendly, however, the scheduling staff not so much. Long story short, I was needing to get a hold of my doctor or her P.A. about my appointment the day prior and instead of getting the physician to call me back, the scheduler told me they couldn't do anything for me and that I should go to the E.R. Very poor costumer service by the scheduler. It was not her place to tell me I should go to the emergency room when all I needed was a call back from the doctor

Came in for visit, and waited literally an hour in the front room before being called in. No apology. No explanation. Never again. Avoid. Terrible front staff, no concern for patients. Just listen the unprofessional phone message when you call, they don't care about us.

I loved Dr. Staar-Kumosa. She did a physical check (ears, heart, lungs, circulation at ankles, etc.) during each visit. She took the time to determine how I was doing and she 'cared' about the patient. I miss her since we moved away. :( It's hard to find such excellent care!

I really like Dr. Kumosa. I am not impressed with her MA. Check in people are great but no customer service and bad attitude from the rest of her staff.

I have had good experiences Dr. Staar-Kumosa. However, her office staff is awful. They have no understanding about what it takes to provide good customer services. I have been trying to get her office to set up a mail-order prescription refill process for me and it has taken four weeks, and they have not yet completed the process. Very painful experience
