Dr. Akram Talhouk, MD

Dr Talhouk and his staff (specifically Fran) were very supportive, responsive, empathetic and informative. I ended up with a consult, scan and, ultimately, an outpatient surgical procedure in the office. He explained my options and talked them through with me. Made me feel comfortable and even cracked a few jokes to keep me calm. Very responsive to my questions/messages and didn’t dismiss my concerns. Also very accommodating with scheduling appointments and get me into the office in a timely fashion when other doctors couldn’t/wouldn’t. I’d recommend him! I also like BMG with their my chart system and user friendly check-in and payment processes.

I was expecting first visit to be a typical “ I see your issue….make an appointment in six weeks for this minor surgery”. Instead he did the surgery quickly and efficiently right then. He is also warm and friendly

Dr. Talhouk explanation of my medical issue was very understandable and sincere. I left feeling stress free and confident that he would be available toassist me at a drop of a hat. ??

Had a small in office surgical procedure and was a little nervous about pain and how id feel during and after. Office secretary was super helpful answered and preempted all my concerns. Very very professional and took their time and was very informative. All went exactly as they described and the doctor was clean well manered well spoken on time easy to understand helpful and gave great advice and feedback through out the appt. Cant imagine anything else to satisfy my experience and i will revisit them again should the need arise without a second thought. Dont look elsewhere these guys are exceptional thabks again

Dr Talhouk and his nurse made me very comfortable from my first visit. I appreciated the thorough explanation of what was to occur. His sense of humor during both procedures was helpful. His nurse is great. They make a great professional team. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs general surgery.

Dr. Talhouk is the best surgeon I ever had do surgery on me. From my first conciliation with the doctor I knew I had chose the right surgeon. He was Very good at explaining how the procedure would be done in detail, That made me feel very comfortable. He took his time with me and answered all the questions I had asked him. Dr. Talhouk’s office was very professional and showed much empathy from the time I called seeking service. I had been searching for some time to find a surgeon to perform my hernia surgery. The day I reached Dr. Talhouk’s office I was scheduled for my first visit. The surgical procedure went perfectly. I have not experienced any problem. Dr. Talhouk is a true professional. I was not impressed by Dr.Talkiuk. He came into the room unprepared. Had no idea about my case. Was very rude . He even answered a text and responded during my appt. Kept leaving the room to check my records came back even more confused. He even started getting me confused on the tests I had. At one point he goes oh I had the test date right in my hand. Dr.Talkouk did not seem like he wanted to be at the office today . Thank god i dont need surgery as i would never have him operate on me. I will never go back or refer him very disappointed and a big waste of my time and money.
