Embolization of the rare brain tumor
Dr. Sattar did embolization on the large rare brain tumor (endolymphatic sac tumor) for my mom. The procedure was very successful and we are extremly thankful to him and other doctors on the team. Dr. Sattar is very knowledgable, polite, and caring.

Neurosurgeon
I needed to find a new neurosurgeon since the one I had moved to another state. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Sattar. My husband and I went to visit him since it was time for my yearly MRA since I had a brain aneurysm. I brought along my previous MRA's with me since he did not do my previous surgery. He was the kindest, most thorough doctor I have ever met. I was scheduled for another procedure at the Livingston Hospital. Lizzette, his surgery consultant was so patient with me since I was so nervous. She faxed letters to the director of human resource so my job knew that I was taking off for a medical condition. The hospital was amazing. They let my husband stay with me till my procedure. My recovery was about 3 1.2 hours long and my husband and mother was able to spend that time with me which made the time go faster and I did not feel so alone. The nurses were wonderful.

In Good Hands
When you have a serious medical condition, the most important thing is knowing you are in good hands. I had just come off a two week stay in a hospital 5,000 miles from home and after being stabilized I found my way to Dr. Sattar. Upon meeting, the anxiety that was flowing through my veins was eased. Dr. Sattar confidence and competence shines though. He takes immediate action and acts with urgency that in my case was needed. I am so thankful to have met him and he deserves more than 5 stars. I have seen many doctors and I won't be going anywhere else. Thank you so much Dr. Sattar.

A Great doctor and a better human being.
We first met about year ago thru recommendation from an MRI that was somewhat abnormal and he had me take another one and it came out that my carotid artery was blocked about 85%It’s my understanding that most would have waited and we talked about risk reward of doing the procedure and his demeanor was so great that I felt completely at ease and he LISTENED to me and saw my anxiety which very few doctors do today Anyway he did the procedure and all is great I would and will recommend him to anyone that needs his excellent expertise and more so his care for a scared patient. So refreshing to deal with him.

Dr. Sattar is extremely knowledgeable and professional, yet he takes the time to explain things in layman's terms. He and the entire staff are pleasant and sincere. His Eatontown office and the Mountainside Medical Center are clean, professional, and caring. Both have the most current technology and services. I highly recommend Dr. Sattar.

Highly Recommend
I saw Dr. Sattar while pregnant for a consultation regarding mode of delivery. He had excellent bedside manner, was friendly and approachable. His office staff were amazing. They did the heavy lifting on getting insurance approval which was difficult. They were also in constant communication with me as well as my OBGYN's office. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Neurosurgeon/Doctor
Dr. Sattar is a fantastic neurosurgeon and a wonderful, caring doctor. For me and my daughter, he took the time to fully explain my brain aneurysm (including pictures) and the options available to fix it. He fully answered all questions and addressed all concerns. Two weeks ago, Dr. Sattar went through my wrist and successfully coiled a rather large aneurysm located on the left side of my brain. There is absolutely no doubt that he is a blessing to me and that he saved my life!
