Dr. Ali bills patients without ever seeing them...
In Jan. 2023, I was "referred by, admitted by, and discharged by" Dr. Ali Ahmed because I started in Aliante ER with chest pains and breathing issues. I was told I needed be admitted for observation, based on my lab results. After the transfer to Mt. View I spent roughly 46 hours there being treated by Register Nurses who get their orders from Dr. Ali via a computer without ever seeing or speaking to me. I was to be discharged when a specific test was negative as per his orders. Mt. View woke me up at 3:30 AM and told me I could go home as I am being discharged. I pushed to speak to the discharging physician, Dr. Ali Ahmed, before I was to be removed from the building and that never happened. The RNs said things like, "We aren't sure when/if he's doing rounds today and your free to go home." I pushed very hard and supposedly he was sent a message that in the end was never resolved. The discharge office gave my papers and sent me home. Now he thinks he can collect $$$ for this service!

No follow through
Dr. Ahmed Ali did not deliver as promised. He phoned in a prescription for my wife, and he was told that the drug was contraindicated with her current medications. When advised to contact the pharmacist to discuss an alternative drug, he phoned her pharmacy and left a message with the pharmacist to return his call at a phone number that was no longer in service! Attempts to reach him through the hospital, where he attended to my wife, were painstakingly unsuccessful. To this day, he has not changed the drug to a safer alternative. Negligent care!?
