Wonderful Primary Care Physician
I’ve been going to Dr. Rahman for my annual wellness check-ups, and for all of my general health inquiries or concerns, at his Manhattan office, for over 6 years, and have always had a positive experience. With his help, and the help of his very capable team at that location, I can promptly and reliably receive the care I need, have all health questions addressed, and receive any referrals or perscpriptions without issue.

I started with Dr. Rahman when he took over this practice. I am thoroughly happy here. He is very thorough and caring. He is accessible and I am able to have conversations with him. I also like the fact that he gives back to the community by having nursing students train with him. I am very happy with him being my PCP.

He's future of the health industry
I have never once felt the daunting feeling you do with other doctors. No matter what state my health is in, he has a way of giving it to you that shows how atuned he is to his patients, and comforting. His care is not only limited to just being my doctor, he has assisted with important things that gave me the ability to have a future. Really if you trace it back, I credit him with allowing me to go forward in my life. I can't imagine what that life would be like without him.

Kind and knows his stuff
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rahman for over 10 years now, and as someone who is very picky about doctors and healthcare, I can confidently say he is an outstanding doctor. He combines intelligence and expertise with a fantastic bedside manner that puts his patients at ease. Dr. Rahman is incredibly reliable, and his office consistently offers short wait times, which is a rare find. When my husband and I faced an extremely difficult time in 2020 during a serious bout of COVID, Dr. Rahman went above and beyond. He made himself available for remote appointments, talking us through every concern (there were a lot of them) and providing the care and reassurance we needed. If you’re looking for a doctor who truly cares about his patients and provides outstanding medical care, I highly recommend Dr. Rahman.

Dr Rahman has my elderly mother's physician for several years. He never showed much interest in her overall health and was impossible to get on the phone. We tried to get her the services of a visiting nurse. It took him a month, and almost daily calls from me, to get him to send in the referral. When he finally sent it in, he incorrectly said she had severe memory loss, which she doesn't. They denied her because they don't deal with dementia patients. The doctor had seen her several months before for a cursory visit in which he never tested her for memory loss.

I went to Dr Rahman as a referral from a therapist who I saw only once. The therapist told me that because I was experiencing difficulties in finding a psychiatrist who was accepting new patients with my new insurance, that I could try Dr Rahman, who was able write RX's for refills. After checking Dr Rahman's website, I saw refills as one of his services. I found Dr Rahman’s office dark and dingy though staff were congenial. I explained to Dr Rahman that I wanted a refill for my anti-depressants but he flatly said no and that I'd have to see a specialist. OK, fine, now I know. Moving on, I told Dr Rahman the second reason for my visit was to obtain a Dr’s note about being half deaf, a disability. I’ve been deaf in my left ear all my life. Dr Rahman appeared incredulous and retorted--”How do you know you’re deaf in your left ear?” This stupefied me and I responded by telling him that all my life I have been deaf in my left ear. The reason I know I’m deaf in my left ear is because I ca
