Horrible doctor. Very dismissive and arrogant.

Incompetent
Mr. Mues performed a surgery on my mother. Mr. Mues performed the surgery in September 2023, and we never saw or heard from him after 3 days after the surgery, he allowed my mother's usual urologist to take over. She ended up spending 50 days in the hospital, multiple trips to ICU and a second surgery to fix what was done incorrectly in the first surgery. Unfortunately, after all that she died in November 2023. Avoid him at all cost.

Run as far away from this doctor as possible.
This surgeon operated on a family member of mine and not only did he botch up the surgery, he then canceled his follow up visit and refused to address the mishap. Never returned urgent phone calls and left him in need of immediate care. I cannot believe there are doctors that conduct themselves in this manner. This journey has been a nightmare for our family. Do yourselves a favor and run as far away from this guy as possible.

Helped me!
Dr. Mues repaired and lifted my prolapsed bladder. I'm very happy with the results. I them recommend him to a friend of mine. He did the same for her. She's also very happy with the results. Ladies if you're having an issue this is your man.

If I could review without leaving a star I would.
I had a 3:30 appt and was there by 3:00. I had called twice earlier in the week to get a blood order for my PSA. Dr. Mues would not take the time to sign the order and the nurse is no longer allowed to order bloodwork. They cancelled my appt and rescheduled me with a nurse practitioner. I have been a patient for over 5 years with him and just needed my yearly Prostate check and PSA. This appt was made July 2022. My appt was confirmed through Cleveland Clinic scheduling. His nurse also confirmed my 3:30 appt both times I spoke to her. I never received a call from his office nor did they leave a message on my voicemail. He is leaving Cleveland Clinic and it appears he doesn't have any respect for his patients now that he is leaving.

Ct scan discovered cancerous kidney growth. Dr. Mues operated and removed one of my kidneys. I believe he saved my life. He followed up with CT to monitor once a year. I am in my third year with no pain and cancer free. I was very lucky. He is a great Dr.

Terrible
I see my Urologist, Dr. Adam Mues and I request a PSA Test. He tells me at my age, 77, they no longer do them. Later I see my G.P. and I ask for a PSA Test. I get a call from his office telling me I have an elevated PSA and need to make an appointment with my Urologist as soon as possible. Back to Adam Mues who schedules me for a Prostrate Biopsy. About two days after the Biopsy, I find myself in the Emergency Room with a fever, uncontrollable chills and an infection, most likely from the Biopsy. About a week later I am back in Dr. Adam Mues' Office for my follow up appointment for the Biopsy. He refuses to discuss the ER Visit! He says we are here to talk about your Biopsy results--You have Prostrate Cancer, you are too old for surgery, I can refer you to a Radiologist if you like. I say Okay, obviously I have questions! He leaves the room and never returns! Had I listened to him my cancer would have gone undetected! Never go there! Highly recommend Dr. Michael C. Solomon GREAT!

WORST HUMAN BEING! 3 minutes in the office with him...endured a smug look on his face! Arrogant, didn't ask me ANYTHING about my condition( enlarged prostrate) Told me to schedule a procedure...asked what? His reply was curt: "We put an instrument in your anus to see if it is cancer"...inquired if it's not, " he shrugged and said do nothing. He never asked for labs to verify current PSA count, never asked what my symptoms are. I have called BCBS; filed a complaint. He should not be paid.

Ct scan discovered cancerous kidney growth. Dr mues operated and believe it or not, I had no pain. He's great,no bs, and super skilled. He followed up after a year with another ct just to check that I had no problems. Still cancer free. Lucky he's in tradition.

After having several weeks of pain I visited Dr. Mues who I had seen before for kidney stones. He came into the room, asked me about the issue, and the told me that it could be anything and to go see my primary care. He never got out of his chair. Never gave me any type of exam. The entire visit, $273 worth, was 5 minutes. Not sure what happened to this practice but avoid it like the plague. Find someone who cares about their patients.

Dr. Treats you so well here, even the rest of the staff. I love coming here every year. I have been seeing Dr Mues for 3 years now and he's the best. If he is overbooked he has a nurse practitioner there that helps him and she makes you feel so welcomed and relaxed when she sees you also. A great doctor and great place

I would never go back to him nor recommend him to anyone. He is condescending & arrogant. I actually went back to him a second time because my PCP was concerned about all my UTI's & he made it clear he doesn't do UTI's or kidney infections. I also needed more info on his robotic surgery for a prolapse versus my gynecologist doing the surgery but it was clear to me that I would never have any confidence in him. It's too bad because his skills may be very good but his attitude is not. Not a Cleveland Clinic doctor for sure.

Horrible doctor. I developed sepis after Dr. Mues did a cystoscopy. His equipment did not look clean and he did not follow appropriate procedures. He should not be working for Cleveland Clinic.

He performed a cystoscopy on me. I was in excruciating pain for which he had no explanation. He said he performed the procedure thousands of times without incident. He was uncaring and offered no reassurance. He did not share I would have painful, bloody urination. Then I was rushed out of the room because it was needed for the next victim. Mues made me feel like a lump of meat. Don’t use him.
