Dr Kaye is the BEST. 3 broken ribs in back & cartilage torn from same ribs in the front. VERY painful especially with pre-existing chronic cough. First SEVERAL doctors told me "no surgery needed (they'd heal on their own)". The ribs were moving/popping!, CLEARLY not going to heal themselves. 2 months after the accident, Dr Kaye plated them, problem solved. Fantastic personality & staff.

Dr. Kaye was the only surgeon in Kansas City who I could find to do a very rare surgery which was the removal of a hydrocele of the canal of Nuck. I tend to follow a very “pay your grocer, not your doctor” lifestyle that included several homebirths, so surgery was very intimidating for me. However, when my husband and I consulted Dr.Kaye on my condition he was very personable and kind, explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all our questions. After the surgery he showed us photos he took during the procedure and explained the process. He put us at ease and if I needed surgery again I’d go to him first. Thanks to him I’ll be jumping on the trampoline again with my four kiddos. Thank you Dr. Kaye!

Dr Kaye put plates on 5 of my 6 broken ribs after my motorcycle accident. He answered all my questions and was very helpful during my recovery.

I had a great experience with Dr.K. my hernia surgery went great and walked out that day, recovered in three. Didn't seem to think he was God in my opinion. But like orifices, everyone has got one. Thanks Dr.K, Brad N.

Dr Kaye correctly diagnosed I needed five ribs plated after a severe bicycle accident 8-1-20. KU said I didn’t need plating immediately after. the accident. They were wrong and he got it right three months after the accident. I dev a chest infection from an unknown source. He insisted I transport by ambulance from Manhattan to KC. He came in three times when off duty and not on call. I consider him a genius and a really nice person. The nurses ALL respect and like him. He gave me my life back. I’d give him 6 stars. He has six children, two of which have Downs and are adopted. That says a lot. God bless him

I found Dr Kaye to be kind and compassionate. He listened to everything that I had to say, and he went over all the pros, and cons with me. Not only has the outcome of my surgery exceeded my expectations, it has been life-changing! After 2 years of being in constant pain after a rib injury, I'm finally pain free! Dr Kaye mismanaged my case and dismissed worries over the fact that I was throwing up everyday after surgery. I finally healed from my surgeries after firing Dr Kaye and wish I had done it sooner.

I was referred to Dr Kaye when I was in OPRH. He did a surgery on me and I'm so grateful for him! He has an amazing bed side manner. That doesn't mean he will always tell you what you want to hear but what you need to hear. I have found that he and Sheryl are amazing in his office. I have never called with any questions or something I needed that wasn't taking care of. If you need a good surgeon this is a great one in my opinion

Dr Kaye and his staff are amazingly skilled and caring people. I have had to undergo numerous surgeries, including one that others weren't willing to do. Dr Kaye and Dr Fishman not only performed the surgery; they gave me my quality of life back. They are like members of my family now!!

Dr. Kaye lives up to every negative stereotype of a surgeon. He’s arrogant and has a God complex. The problem is he doesn’t have the skill set to back it up. Would never have another surgery performed by him.

Dr. Kaye and his medical assistant/nurse provided me with the best care for my personal situation, of which turned very serious in His office. The mentioned personnel in my opinion, kept me alive and transported me to the hospital ER with calm urgency. Dr. Kaye then performed a needed procedure with calmness and honesty, of which I knew I was getting the very best care at that time. I refer the ENTIRE STAFF with thankful honesty, Dr. Fishman and Dr. Hufford were essential to my health as well.

Sharyl the nurse to both Dr. Fishman and Dr. Kaye is wonderful. She does an awesome job. Kind and considerate. The same for Dr. Fishman and Dr. Kaye, both awesome doctors!
