Dr. Abdoulaye Diop, MD

The doctor is in two days per week typically. It is usually relatively easy to set up a telehealth (phone) appointment when necessary without the usual wait with other providers. However, the calls are always much later than scheduled. I had a 10 AM appointment and at almost 11:30 I have not received the call yet. It's also a challenge where forms are concerned, especially when they need to be submitted in a timely manner. Even with that, they are much faster than other providers I've come across. That said, I am considering switching, although this is not the fault of anyone at the office. I moved, and now live about a half hour away. The nurse practitioner I saw also has left the practice, and I honestly feel more comfortable with a female physician. I've also found a provider that is closer to where I live and offers video appointments, so I am considering switching to them.

I am very disgusted with the service at this clinic. I went for treatment once and I waited a long time and was referred elsewhere for treatment. I was supposed to be scheduled for an MRI. I had to remind the office to schedule me. I call the location and often no one answers the phone. After my MRI I was told that the office would call me for a followup. Three weeks went by no one called so I again had to call. I went to the clinic for my results to be read and I was told to come back. Then I went another day and was told the same thing without any reason. I went to another provider and for the first time I was told I had I had to make an appointment with the Doctor for my results and the Doctor only came in once a week?!! I then asked for my records and I was told that there was a fee and I needed to sign a release form. I went to the office signed the release form and I was told to check back in three days to see if the records were ready. I feel as though the office does not care.

I am trying to get in contact with him because I was supposed to get a blood test but there were some transportation issues due to my lack of communication with anyone in my family who would take me to the Quest Dianostics clinic on Prairie in Inglewood. I have scheduled this appointment for Monday, 11/19/'18; however, because of my lack of informing somebody about this, I may be forced to either wait or reschedule another appointment. Therefore, I will let you know.

Experience with the Dr. is okay; However, the staff is rude on the adult side. My experiences alone within this year after being a patient for over 10 years makes me want to change providers. They try to get you to come in and pay a co-pay just to ask the Dr a question. Not good practice and Dr may want to seek a new MA
