I have been to many doctors office and I have always had to wait 45 minutes to an hour to be seen. I was seen right away and he spent a long time discussing alternative options and treatments with me. I really appreciate it because in the past doctors have blown off my diagnosis and Dr. Shams really listened to my problems. His assistant was so attentive and called in my prescription while I was there. Please with the overall office. Thank you Dr. Shams

I was happy to find a Rheumatologist taking new patients as I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2016 and have been experiencing symptoms that had me concerned about Lupus. Thankfully Dr. Shams along with his assistant Sara actually listened to my concerns and proceeded to do testing to rule out Lupus to help put my mind at ease. In addition I have been dealing with knee pain that initiated 30 years ago from a car accident, has progressively gotten worse over the years and for the first time ever he suggested cortisone injections. I feel like I have a new knee, I think I have found a forever rheumatologist and I highly suggest you give them a try.

Dr. Shams goes above and beyond for all of his patients. He has squeezed me in at a moments notice when I was suffering from extreme pain, he spends time with me to answer all of my questions. His staff makes sure my prescriptions are ready when I need him. His assistant sara and his administrator suzie are so nice. I would recommend him to anyone!

Wait over 2 hours though arrived early. People who arrived after me were processed ahead. Front desk not forthcoming w/billing questions. Instead of billing me, confronted me in an embarassing manner, & forced me to call health ins to explain. Due to meds I take for other conditions, my arthritis is masked, & I delayed seeking treatment, but, I want resolution, not just treating conditions, but Dr. has not explained options to resolve, despite queries. Treatment has helped, but not enough.
