Biography: Sumeet K. Mainigi, MD is the Chairman of Cardiology and Director of Electrophysiology at Einstein Medical Center. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College. He is a leader in the field of electrophysiology in the Philadelphia region and nationally. He has pioneered numerous techniques in the field and was the first physician in Philadelphia to perform ablations without fluoroscopy (x-ray), utilize quadripolar pacing leads for advanced heart failure, contact force sensing catheters for ablation and many other technologies.
