Reynaria Pitts, MD joined Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates (ADCA) after finishing her Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Emory University's J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency Program. Prior to joining ADCA, Dr. Pitts was a preventive cardiology research fellow at the Piedmont Heart Institute in Atlanta, GA and at the Eastern Colorado VA Medical Center in Denver, CO. She specializes in cardiovascular disease, and has spent time refining her expertise in lipidology, cardiovascular disease prevention and rehabilitation.

Care Philosophy: It operates on simple principles of integrity, doing the best for the patient, and compassionate care. My goal as a proceduralist and interventional cardiologist is to get them the best results, whether by fixing the problem myself or finding the best-suited physician.We have established a network of interventional cardiologists, endovascular specialists, cardiac and vascular surgeons, and other specialties and subspecialties to suit the needs of our patients in providing cutting-edge cardiovascular care in a patient-friendly environment.

If a patient leaves the room without understanding their condition and plan, then I have not done my best. I strive to explain complex issues in a way that is approachable. The heart is a fascinating organ. Cardiology is unique in the number of modalities available to look at the body. There are so many different tools available to understand a patient's condition, and the field is always evolving in exciting ways. I really enjoy the detective work of finding answers to a problem, and it all starts with truly listening to the patient.
