My first visit went great but 6 months later
My first visit went great, and I thought I’d found my new PCP. But they asked me to come in for a prescription refill just six months after my last visit, even though the meds aren’t narcotics or addictive. This may be standard, but I’m not used to it after seeing the same doctor for 35 years and only needing annual visits. I expressed my frustration and agreed to come in, but mentioned it would be my last time. The day before the appointment, they called to drop me as a patient, which was frustrating since I’d rearranged my schedule and never acted out of line.
