Overcharged and underserved at Los Lunas location
Deliberately complicated check-in and exam that took 2.5 hours. Later requested an itemized receipt (didn't get one when I left) which showed a 'Visit charge' of $90, plus my EyeMed copay of $10. Even 'Main Billing' can't explain it, waiting for a refund. A casual, haphazard contact 'fitting' exam by the dr., they didn't have my contacts in stock so he just asked about my old ones and said to get the same prescription. Optical shop does not explain charges and got no itemized receipt. When I requested one the charges are so complicated I had to contact EyeMed to get an explanation of benefits and what I actually paid for. Still need resolution of some charges, will never set foot in Eye Associates again for a routine exam.
