Wife had 1:00pm scheduled appointment with New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging location in Stratford, NJ. We arrived at 1:06pm but had to wait 5 minutes for 2 check-in reps to take care of other patients. When I gave the clerk my wife's name and information at 1:11pm, I was told that we exceeded the 10 minute rule and could not see the doctor and would have to reschedule her appointment. I argued that it was ONLY 1 minute pass the 10 minutes but she said the only thing we could do was to reschedule the appointment. We live 30 minutes away and it takes 2-3 months to schedule appointments. This is ridiculous and inexcusable to be denied access to a doctor for 1 MINUTE which was not our fault!!!! They gave us no compassion or understanding of a Dementia/Alzheimer patient. They have lost a patient as well!
