Dr. Donald Rose and Dr. Ragavan treated me.
I saw Dr. Rose and he wasn’t nice. I wasn’t moving as fast as he wanted me to, so he dismissed me after 2 visits. My A1C went down, yet he wasn’t satisfied. It didn’t go down by much but it didn’t go up. He said that my depression was keeping me from managing my diabetes so I saw a counselor. I then asked to see Dr. Ragavan and she refused. The manager said that she would call me back and never did. They said they would honor my last appointment, yet it was canceled. They treated me like I didn’t even matter. I felt defeated. I felt like they didn’t care if I lived or died. I was trying. Diabetes can sometimes be hard to manage. Since then I have maintained an A1C of 5.8. I lost over 50 pounds. I pray that God grants them more mercy and grace than they ever gave. I have a provider that cares and that’s the key.
