Poor patient experience
While our family has generally had positive experiences with the doctors at Lakepoint Family Physicians, aka Ascension Medical Group via Christi on E. Central, the patient experience has been extremely disappointing and was marred by unprofessional service from the receptionist.Her lack of knowledge around simple processes such as patient portal access and medical record authorization has led to wasted time, multiple follow ups, misguided information, but also cast has doubt on the overall efficiency of the office.A courteous and truthful front desk is vital for any medical practice. Unfortunately, this interaction fell short of those expectations. Hopefully, this review will prompt this office to address the importance of professionalism and honesty with their reception staff.
