Dr. Deborah Outwater, MD

Dr. Outwater was my PCP for several years and thankfully I did not have many health issues, so my visits were pretty infrequent. She was assisting me with my goal of losing some weight and I was very happy with my care. But in May 2023 I had some shoulder pain that progressed into severe debilitating pain. Over the course of the next few months, I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Outwater with PTS (Parsonage Turner Syndrome), which has no cure. My pain was not regulated, and her office staff was downright rude. She refused to see me in office and then when I had proof the MRI report was incorrect (had a second doctor review the disc), she had the office manager inform me that she would no longer care for me. This was even after she recommended I see her husband for massage therapy in her same building! Thankfully, I was able to have a successful spinal fusion surgery after my new doctor got to the real reason for all of my pain. I endured MONTHs of pain and she abandoned me.

She's a good doctorListen to your concerns. Had a issue with gatekeeper . She let me go cause I text bad word in my text. When I received letter she will no longer be my doctor reason did not agree with medical plan. Which is not true. Not understanding why would she say that. I question her integrity.

She listened and really cared about me and what I was experiencing. I would, for sure, recommend her to other people.

Dr Outwater is very friendly and open and a good listener. She seems to be quite knowledgeable, but is quick to consult with an associate when she is unsure about something.

She is exceptional and caring. Her commitment to me when she sees me is better than any doctor I have ever had. I would highly recommend her!
