Would not recommend
Would not recommendMy hand surgery resulted in an infection due to his violation of the sterile surgical field. When the surgical bandage was removed 7 days post surgery my finger was swollen, red, and painful. Oral antibiotics were prescribed. A second surgery to incise and drain the infection(pus) was performed 10 days after the original surgery. A third surgery was performed to remove the screw used to fuse the finger joint. I had 3 surgeries in 3 months. Mismanagement of the infection necessitated that a special IV line be put in my arm and IV antibiotic infused at a hospital for 42 consecutive days.I am now under the care of expert professors and clinicians at one of the top 5 university medical schools in the United States who continue to try to rectify the care I received and prevent amputation of my finger. I am trying to put this incident behind me but it is difficult since I have pain every time the tip of the affected finger touches a surface. My finger is permanently deforme
