Direct access to surgeon. After seeing numerous hand specialists who didn’t listen he did and I appreciate all his wisdom, guidance and NP who helped. Go to him first for any surgical need hand to shoulder. He is the best!!

I had hand, wrist and elbow surgery over a year ago. I faithfully did my therapy. My hand has not improved and is worse than prior to surgery. I now have trigger finger in four fingers. Numbness and stiffness. Pain between index and middle finger is still present. My elbow is always touchy after the ulna nerve was moved to the inside of my elbow. Dr Peers was not a good listener and dismissive. His bedside manner is lacking in all areas. Post op he spoke to me, ten feet away, while walking past my bed. Several months later I called his office with concerns that I was not seeing good results and was told to continue my exercises and give it time to heal. I did that. Nothing has improved. I should have listened to that voice in my head prior to surgery when I was tossed between an intern and Dr Peers. Frustrating that neither of them could hear me.

Dr. Peers has always been a caring physician. He always gave whatever time was needed to address my questions and concerns. When I was overzealous and caused my shoulder to become enflamed, Dr. Peers saw me through that night and the recovery. I am so glad that I had the surgery. I am looking forward to being able to play golf with my husband and friends. Thank you, Dr. Peers!

Dr. Peers is amazing. He truly listens to you, explains everything and draws pictures to ensure that you understand what he’s talking about. He has excellent bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable with whatever procedure you’re having done. I’ve never felt rushed during any of my appointments. He asks for your thoughts on the plan of care instead of dictating what is going to happen. He’s the only one that I would go to for any concerns for hand to shoulder issues. He’s the best!

My husband and I saw Dr. Peers for different issues. Dr. Peers is very thorough and took the time to explain to each of us our diagnosis and treatment options. We are both doing much better and are forever thankful to Dr. Peers and his amazing staff for taking such great care of us!

Dr. Peers saw me for severe pain in my left shoulder. He and his staff were very kind and he was able to diagnose the problem when others could not. He gave me an injection which resolved the issue. I am back to myself again. Wish I had seen him first!! Highly recommend.
