Wisdom teeth- Appointments went smoothly, procedure was fast (too fast). My child had a horrible reaction to the IV anesthesia. She weighs 117 pounds. Apparently the IV dosage is the same regardless of the weight. My child fainted as soon we got home. We thought she was dying. It was amazingly scary. I should have call 911, but instead I called the emergency number given to us in the pamphlet (which was not the right number to call). After several days, she got an EKG and was checked by her cardiologist to make sure she was OK. Doctors are great and highly experienced. Just be careful with the IV (contains Fentanyl, versed and decadron). I was told that each month, they have at least one patient that faints. Other than that, service was great, staff courteous. I just wish they could dedicate more time to give post-op instructions — a special mouthwash was not available at the pharmacy so we never received it and we didn’t even know about it.
