I was unable to get badly needed medicine because of this offices refusal to correctly call in the preauthorization. I even sent them the number for Express Scripts pre-authorization to make it easier. Express is the prescription benefit company that handles my insurance plan through UnitedHealthCare. Dalia, a member of the staff here called to say the preauthorization was called in. I advised they called it in to the insurance company and not the prescription benefit company. United Healthcare had already notified me that those go directly to Express at the number I provided. Instead, Dalia talked over me, refused to call the correct number. Because of her hubris and the ineptness of this company all around, I was without my medication for weeks. All because they refused to simply call the number. I would suggest you look around for an office to go to. There's a reason the ratings for Advanced Urology is so low everywhere. Dalia and the medical staff here. Worst experience.
