I saw Dr. Haaksma for an ongoing issue with my foot. He was very attentive, listened to my history and made me feel at ease. He was extremely thorough and explained things in a way I could understand.

Bedside manner is great
I am a nurse of almost 27 years and my feet are beat! I have had ongoing issues with ingrown toenails and I blame it on my poor choice of shoes (Dansko's). Dr H has a wonderful bedside manner and explains everything very clearly. Just listen to his directions. If you are not sure about what is happening, ask him to explain the how and why, again. He will take the time to do that. I found him on Google and I would highly recommend him if you are in need of a Podiatrist at Modern Foot and Ankle.
