When I began going to Dr. Desai in 2020, We had a clear understanding of what my issues were. At the time they weren't bothering me so we decided to wait until it became an issue. Fast forward 2 years, I'm in the hospital in and out for about 6 months. Finally after many many scans I am told I need surgical intervention. I meet with Dr. Desai And we schedule surgery. However, he insisted on taking my uterus out. It was medically unnecessary and being in the medical field I refused. Once I did not do exactly as he wanted me to, he fired me as a patient and left me with no doctor and an emergent surgery,putting my life on the line. His bedside mannerism is awful, God forbid you're having a bad day and upset. He also said that I was too emotional for this surgery. What woman wouldn't be emotional when they go in to an office knowing that they have to have their female reproductive organs removed without ever having children. He is the worst doctor I've ever ever come across. Steer clear.
