I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University and then attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I completed a 5-year Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Nebraska/Creighton Health Foundation. During My residency and fellowship I served as the team physician for many team sports. I completed one of the top sports and arthroscopy fellowships at the renowned Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI), pioneers in minimally invasive surgical techniques where I focused on arthroscopy of the shoulder, knee, hip, elbow and ankle. During my fellowship, I published research in many scientific journals. I am a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a Sub-specialty Certification in Sports Medicine.
