In 1996, Dr. Cook earned his Medical Doctorate at the Tulane University Medical School with acceptance into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following his medical degree, Dr. Cook undertook his general surgery internship and neurosurgical residency at the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated in 2002. Since that time, Dr. Cook has been in private neurosurgical practice and relocated to Austin, Texas in 2014 where he remains a partner at Central Texas Brain & Spine (CTBS).
