He was the Head Team Physician for Second Baptist High School and an Associate Team Physician for the Houston Sabercats of Major League Rugby. Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Stanislav undertook his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Kansas City University/HCA Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, where he was trained extensively in the surgical management of orthopedic conditions encompassing sports medicine, total joint arthroplasty, and trauma. During his residency, he obtained the highest orthopedic in-service training exam score in his class three years in a row. He was selected as Chief Resident by his residency faculty tasked with administrative duties overseeing the entire residency program on top of his clinical requirements. Most notably, he was awarded the Bob Green Memorial Award, which is awarded annually to one member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics who achieved the highest combined score in the written and oral certification examinations for the prior year. He completed his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) with Magna Cum Laude honors at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. Before medical school, Dr. Stanislav earned a Master's in Biomedical Sciences (M.S.) with the highest honors of Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Basic Exercise Physiology with a minor in Business, earning Cum Laude honors from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. While in undergrad, he was in the Corps of Cadets, Fightin' Texas Aggie Band, and multi-year captain of the Corps of Cadets Baseball Team.
