Dr. Popov is a native of New Jersey. She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the America College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Popov completed her internship in 1997 and residency in 2000, both at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA in Obstetrics and Gynecology. At graduation, she received the Resident Teacher of the Year Award. She received a Master's of Business Administration in 2012 from the University of Massachusetts. She served as past president of Denton County Medical Society and past Credentials Chairman at North Texas Hospital and was a member of the Council on Socio-economics for Texas Medical Association. She is trained as a robotic surgeon and has been doing robotic surgery since 2007. She is also trained to perform VNOTES (vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery) hysterectomies. Her current interests include minimally-invasive surgery, menopausal management, and hereditary cancer screening.
