Gaddum Reddy, MD, PhD is a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon. He joined Brain & Spine Specialists in 2021 as a surgical specialist in the repair and restoration of spinal, brain and nerve function. After graduating with high honors from Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Reddy went on to obtain his MD from Baylor College of Medicine as well as a PhD from Rice University in Bioengineering. He then completed residency in Neurological Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center where he received extensive subspecialty training in spine and brain tumor surgery as well as in the surgical treatment of degenerative and traumatic spinal conditions. Dr. Reddy then went on to complete specialized fellowship training in the surgical management of pain, epilepsy and movement disorders at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Brain and Spine Specialists, Dr. Reddy was a professor of Neurosurgery and served as director of Functional and Epilepsy surgery and at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.Dr. Reddy is a member of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeon, College of Neurological Surgeons, American Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, World Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, and American Medical Association. He has written extensively in the field and has over 100 published abstracts, presentations, book chapters and peer-reviewed articles.

I am a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon in complex and reconstructive spine surgery, focusing on minimally-invasive and less-invasive treatment strategies for a variety of spinal conditions. I employ a conservative approach to treatment of all spinal conditions, exhausting all non-surgical options where appropriate. Through my neurosurgical training, I take all efforts to maximize and stabilize neurological function and recovery where it has been compromised. After being born and raised here in the DFW Metroplex, it is an honor and a privilege to come back and serve the greater Arlington community in this capacity.
