Bryan W. Lapinski, M.D. is a board certified, fellowship-trained, foot and ankle orthopedic specialist.Dr. Lapinski graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame. He received his medical degree and completed an Orthopaedic residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. In addition to his training at Northwestern, Dr. Lapinski completed a Sigvard T. Hansen Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the University of Washington. He then spent 3 years as a clinical instructor of orthopaedic surgery at Northwestern University.Dr. Lapinski holds active memberships with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.

Benjamin P. Debelak, DO, received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI, and he received his medical degree in osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He completed his orthopaedic surgery internship and residency from Michigan State University in Lansing, MI. Following residency, he came to The Hughston Foundation for a one-year orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship. After receiving his sports medicine training he returned to Michigan to work as a team physician and surgeon. Most recently, he worked in Waynesville, NC, as director of sports medicine for the Haywood County School District. Dr. Debelak is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Debelak has a passion for sports medicine and the health of athletes. He has treated athletes and worked with the sports medicine teams of Central Michigan University, Michigan State, Valdosta State, and Columbus State University. He also treated professional hockey players and provided team coverage for high school athletes in Georgia, Michigan, and North Carolina. Dr. Debelak will work in our Tennessee clinics and devote his practice to sports injuries and the care of athletes.

Dr. Evans is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and orthopaedic traumatologist. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, and earned his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Evans earned his fellowship certification in orthopaedic traumatology in the Orthopaedic Traumatology Advanced Clinical Experience program at Harborview Medical Center / University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Prior to coming to the Hughston Clinic, Dr. Evans served as assistant professor and orthopaedic trauma fellowship director at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and most recently served as assistant professor and fellowship director of orthopaedic trauma at the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Institute at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Evans is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopedic Trauma Association, and other international and regional organizations. He serves as teaching faculty for AO North America, and he is an active member of the AAOS Committee on Trauma. Dr. Evans has published extensively—peer-reviewed articles in major orthopaedic journals, book chapters, and his research has been presented at national meetings. His clinical and research interests include pelvic and acetabular fractures and complex lower extremity injuries. He plans to continue his research interests through the Hughston Foundation, Inc.
