I am a medical oncologist who specializes in cancers of the lung and thymus. I work closely with our multidisciplinary team of expert thoracic surgeons, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, palliative care/pain management specialists, and nutritionists to provide comprehensive care for our patients. I view each patient and their disease as unique and work to manage their treatment accordingly, always keeping their goals in mind. In order to provide new hopes for the future of lung cancer treatment, our division is also involved in clinical research focusing on precsion medicine, immunotherapy, and novel therapeutics as well as laboratory research to better understand this disease.

I am a medical oncologist dedicated to treating and studying diseases that affect the genitourinary system. At Weill Cornell Medicine, I work at the intersection of science and patient care, which allows me to combine my medical training and research insights to provide the best possible care to adults with kidney, bladder, prostate and testicular cancers. It is a priority of mine to not only deliver cutting-edge and compassionate care to my patients, but to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families as they cope with a cancer diagnosis. I feel privileged to collaborate with a multidisciplinary, world-class team of clinicians, nurses, social workers and other cancer sub-specialists. Together, we are able to offer an extraordinary level of expertise and support to our patients at all stages of disease. Additionally, my scientific work involves translational research and clinical trials to investigate promising, new treatment therapies. This allows us to move the field forward in order to one day find cures for cancer.

Stephanie M Gallitano, MD, joined the faculty of the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University and the staff of NewYork-Presbyterian in 2017. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology, Director of Milstein and Allen Hospital Inpatient Consultation, and Dermatology Residency Program Director. She received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She completed her medical internship at New York University Hospital and completed her Dermatology residency at SUNY-Downstate where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Gallitano's unique areas of interest include treating patients with dermatologic conditions related to their history of solid organ transplantation, cancer-treatment-related skin reactions, skin reactions that occur during hospitalization, and autoimmune/autoinflammatory skin disease. She enjoys caring for patients with cutaneous skin infections or skin diseases related to immunosuppression. She enjoys collaborating with colleagues throughout the institution to provide multidisciplinary care that results in optimal outcomes for patients. She is happiest when her patients get better. In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Gallitano enjoys teaching residents during clinic, didactics and bedside rounds. Outside of work, she loves hiking, cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.Dr. Gallitano is active with the Women's Dermatologic Society, the Society of Dermatology Hospitalists, and the American Academy of Dermatology. She has authored numerous articles in medical dermatology and has lectured at local and national conferences.

Dr. Ritchie's research interests are in the treatment of older patients with anemia, cytopenias, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative disorders and acute leukemia. She is interested in finding better therapies and supportive care strategies for older patients. Dr. Ritchie is the principal investigator on clincal trials investigating new diagnostic techniques, supportive care strategies and therapeutics aimed at the older patient. She collaborates with investigators in the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology. She has been the author or co-author of many publications. She is interested in improving the medical care of older patients with hematologic malignancies.

My first priority is the patient sitting in front of me. I have a longstanding interest in cancer care and have been specifically focused on lymphoma since my father was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma when I was a medical student. At Weill Cornell, our experienced team of lymphoma specialists works together to determine the most appropriate therapy for each individual patient. Our group has played a key role in the development of many new therapies approved for lymphoma in recent years. As a result, our patients have early access to new and promising lymphoma treatments. We are fortunate to have a strong team of physician assistants, nurses, medical technicians, pharmacists, and administrative staff. This environment enables me to provide my patients with the best possible level of care.

One of the most gratifying aspects of practicing at Weill Cornell has been the close collaborations with talented clinicians and scientists in the diagnosis and management of complex blood disorders. In my new role, I look forward to providing the same personal care to my patients utilizing the latest diagnostic tools and therapeutic modalities to improve patient outcomes.
