Dr. Caralopoulos received his medical degree from Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He then completed his Neurosurgery residency at the Tulane-Ochsner Neurosurgery Program in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Caralopoulos treats all general neurosurgery cases, with a special focus on open and minimally invasive spine surgery.

Dr. Brown completed a dual Bachelor's Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2001 and received his Doctor of Medicine in 2006 from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans. He completed his residency in Neurosurgery at LSU Hospital in Shreveport, LA in 2013 followed by a cerebrovascular/endovascular fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville,FL. He is board certified in Neurologic Surgery. Dr. Brown joins us from the Mayo Clinic in Florida and has been in practice for 5 years. Dr.Brown's clinical interests include disorders of the spine and brain including tumors, aneurysms, carotid disease, acute stroke, degenerative spinal conditions, trigeminal neuralgia, and others. He utilizes both open and minimally invasive techniques as well as endovascular approaches.
