During his medical studies he was fascinated by internal medicine and its requirements for broad and in-depth knowledge. Today, he is a board-certified pulmonologist with more than 20 years of experience as a physician. Dr. Martinez attended medical school in Spain and completed his residency and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine in Puerto Rico. Over the years he broadened his experience, and his interests include medical research, pulmonary hypertension, interventional pulmonology, sleep medicine, Interstitial lung diseases and early lung cancer detection. Dr. Martinez education sparked his compassionate desire to find the root cause of the problem and treat both cause and symptoms. Dr. Martinez began practicing medicine in the Tampa Bay area in 2001. Dr. Johnson is a member of the Central Florida OB/GYN Society and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Johnson enjoys playing the guitar and has an interest in art history.
