Dr. Thomas Knutson is a board-certified physician specializing in the treatment of knee, shoulder and hip injuries. He attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine where he completed his Medical Degree and Residency in Orthopedics. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Knutson went on to complete a fellowship in Major Joint Reconstruction at the University of California San Diego. Over his 30 years of experience practicing medicine, Dr. Knutson has helped countless patients heal musculoskeletal injuries. He finds great satisfaction in stabilizing broken bones and restoring worn-out joints allowing his patients to get back to their normal activities. Dr. Knutson grew up in Columbus, Wisconsin and moved to California to complete his medical education. He enjoys being a part of the San Diego community and in his spare time takes advantage of the California sun by participating in scuba diving and water sports. Some of Dr. Knutson's other hobbies include traveling, snow skiing, hiking, maintaining his salt-water aquarium and spending time with his lovely wife, three sons and six grandchildren.

Dr. Philip Balikian is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine, adult reconstructive surgery, hand and upper extremity. He grew up in Boston and graduated with honors from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Balikian completed his medical school and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, in Worcester MA. Dr. Balikian lives in San Diego with his wife and two children. Prior to joining Arch Health Medical Group in 2006, he was in private practice in Kentucky for 6 years. Dr. Balikian enjoys painting, cooking, gardening and traveling. He is committed to giving back to his community and has traveled to Armenia for several orthopedic missions. Dr. Balikian believes in treating everyone with compassion, kindness, and integrity. He is committed to making a positive contribution to the wellness of his patients and their families.

Dr. Oh joined the Neurology Center in 2009. She grew up and trained in Texas. She received her undergraduate degree at Rice University and medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. She completed her residency in Neurology and fellowship in Movement Disorders at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Oh has a special interest in Parkinson's disease and essential tremor. She is experienced in the management of deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. She also is experienced in using botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and spasticity and in managing intrathecal baclofen pumps for spasticity. Dr. Oh has privileges at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas and Tri-City Medical Center at Oceanside. She works at our Carlsbad and Escondido offices. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and Movement Disorders Society.
