best spine surgeon I ever had (had 3 surgeries)
dr. peppers was very kind and I liked everything about him that is why I flew 3,000 miles to have surgerie done after he did it 25yrs later. You would be luck to have him as a spinal dr.sincerely, Dawn TeamI made huge mistake and left review with another dr. peppers by mistake and I just hope he and everyone can understand. I am almost 70 and I will never write a review after this. I dont understand the internet and now understand the damage you can do by leaving a mistake by leaving reviews to wrong dr. and I just hope he will understand.sincerely,Dawn T

Very successful neck fusion
He was great explaining procedures and answered all our questions. The surgery results were amazing, I had major pain in left arm prior to surgery from pinched nerve in neck. the pain was completely gone after surgery. His staff was also great, going the extra mile to make my stay comfortable.

Fantastic Surgeon
Before going to Dr. Peppers, I tried injections and physical therapy. But, my conditions didn't change. Dr. Peppers reviewed my MRI, X-ray and CatScans with me. He showed me where the pain in my right arm and shoulder were originating from in my spine. We scheduled a surgery, as my best option available to me. I was unconscious for the whole procedure. Afterwards the drugs were wearing off and I noticed the pain on my right side was completely gone. Dr. Peppers team of nurses and therapists helped me to recover swiftly. I'm very greatful for Dr. Peppers .

A Dr. who cares.
Dr. Peppers and his team actually give a dam. I had to have a complete cervical spinal fusion from C2 down to T2. The pain in my hands is gone and I still have my singing voice which means they took the time to do the job right but listen to my concerns. Before surgery, I had every test necessary to ensure we had the right plan. I am very grateful.

Saved my life - twice
I was admitted to the hospital with an abscess in my neck. Dr. Peppers explained the situation well, performed a spinal fusion and I was on my way within two weeks. My fusion failed due to weakness in my other vertebrae and Dr. Peppers did a second fusion with far greater anchoring and no serious side effects, other than the pain, which was well-controlled. He ensured I was givn antibiotics to prevent recursion of the abscess and I am doing fine.

I had an appointment with Dr. Peppers May 2021 but was seen by a Physician's Assistant instead because he was running behind. Then when I asked for a doctors release back to work letter so SDI would release me and I could then collect EDD while looking for work, the doctor's office refused, said they don't do that! They did eventually agree to submit a form to SDI. I also asked for my DMV placard be extended and was again denied! This office doesn't care about your health, they just want your business. Scripps staff is usually very good. This doctor doesn't embody the Scripps reputation of great service.

I had a discectomy and nerve decompression surgery in February, 2021. I could not be more pleased with the results. The back pain and leg weakness resolved almost immediately, and I needed nothing stronger than Motrin post-surgery. Dr. Peppers answered all my questions and explained everything completely. My only criticism is that I sometimes had to wait over an hour past my appointment time for office visits.

I had a five level lumbar laminectomy on 9-30-20 with Dr. Peppers. Could not be more pleased with the outcome. Excellent communication /explanation before the surgery about the issues present and options for intervention. He gave me the information needed to make an informed decision about how I wanted to proceed. Good communication with office and nursing staff. Feel like a have a whole different life available to me post surgery. I would recommend Dr. Peppers without hesitation to family and friends.

This is long time coming and my apologies to Dr. Peppers, Dr. Peppers has conducted multiple procedures on my lumbar region as well cervical. I rate him one of the best surgeons in Orthopedics. He was able to reconstruct and replace metal implantation bars, screws etc. and conduct bone gaffs from previous surgeries. Although I am not at 100% Dr. Peppers left me with the opportunity to live instead of just survive. I thank Dr. Peppers for what he as accomplished and highly recommended him.
