Dr. K.C. Owsley is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He has a particular interest in arthroscopy and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle. A native of Escondido, California, Dr. Owsley graduated from San Pasqual High School and went on to receive dual degrees in Philosophy and Zoology from Brigham Young University. He received his Medical Doctorate with honors from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York and remained in New York for his residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Upon graduating from residency, Dr. Owsley completed a sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. While there, he worked as part of the medical staff for the L.A. Dodgers, L.A. Lakers, L.A. Angels, L.A. Galaxy, L.A. Sparks Anaheim Ducks, USC Football and many high school, college and amateur athletes. He is a candidate member of the American Academy Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (ANNA). Dr. Owsley lives in San Diego with his wife and is a proud father of two boys and two girls. He enjoys skiing, surfing, cycling and spending time outdoors with his family.

Dr. James Bried is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and adult reconstructive surgery. He has been active in developing innovative techniques for minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Bried is an active member of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has served as the president of the Western Orthopedic Association, San Diego Chapter. Dr. Bried is a member of the clinical faculty at UCSD and has been an instructor at the San Diego Shoulder Association. He was selected as one of America's Top Orthopedists. Dr. Bried graduated with honors at the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as his Medical Doctorate. He completed internship and residency in orthopedics at the University Medical Center in Tucson. Dr. Bried lives in Poway and has been involved in coaching youth baseball and softball. He has served as team physician to local high schools. He enjoys running, tennis, golf and skiing.
