Christopher Kroner, MD, MPH, grew up in Chula Vista, CA, participating in athletics. His love of sports combined with his interests in biology, human behavior and people from diverse backgrounds eventually led to a career both in family and in sports medicines. Additionally, he is an assistant clinical professor at UC Irvine, has written for publications and presented at conferences, and is a member of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Society of Sports Medicine. When not in the office, Dr. Kroner spends time enjoying sports, although lately he finds he does more watching than participating. When his schedule allows, he also likes to attend concerts and other community cultural activities. And although he really enjoys the movies, as a father of young children you're more likely to find him watching Sesame Street.
