I was very nervous going in and Dr.Landau and his staff made me feel comfortable immediately. Dr. Landau has a very calm demeanor and explained everything to me as he was doing it. H e was so pleasant and talked to me the entire time and before I knew it, the procedure was over! I would highly recommend Dr. Landau!

I had a consultation with him about a possible root canal. He treated me very courteously, determined no operation was needed, and did not want to charge me. Amazing.

Dr. Landau's has a very calming communication style, very clear explanations and thorough answers to all my questions.

Recently visited Dr. Michael Landau in Albany, NY for an assessment on some discomfort I had regarding a molar. Dr. Landau was extremely thorough in the consultation/examination, very pleasant and was gracious enough to take the time to go over the issue and x-ray in great detail. The office staff was also very accommodating in squeezing me in for an appointment right away. They went the extra mile for me too, being hard of hearing having difficulty hearing with the COVID mask mandates to make sure I understood the results. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Michael Landau!

Dr Landau was amazing!!!! Prior to my appointment the word "root canal' brought anxiety and fear, Dr. Landau made me feel extremely comfortable. He has an excellent bedside manor . I felt more comfortable than being at a regular dental visit..His staff is welcoming and friendly too.. Overall, i would highly recommend Dr . Landau for a root canal. His pricing is also the best in the area and his work is superior..

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Landau. He performed a root canal over the course of two appointments one week apart (during COVID times no less). I was in no pain at any point, save for the minor discomfort that typically accompanies these procedures.

Dr. Landau provided a complete explanation of how my root canal procedure would be conducted. My procedure required two office visits: the first to remove a cap and attached bridge to reach the affected tooth and remove three nerves; the second to fill/pack the tooth and replace the cap and bridge. Both procedures were painless, with no residual pain or discomfort afterward, and were accomplished exactly as Dr. Landau had explained. Dr. Landau is friendly, reassuring and highly competent The office staff is friendly and helpful. I had an excellent experience in this office and recommend Dr. Landau to anyone needing a root canal.

After a quick google search online for a Endodonrist in the area, I was very pleased to find Dr. Landau. I promptly called the office and was given all the information about the procedure I needed done upfront. I was in a lot of pain and was able to get in to see Dr. Landau that same day. The process was quick and painless. Dr. Landau was very personable throughout my visits. I hope to never have this procedure again, but if needed I would definitely go back to see Dr. Landau. Strongly disagree with negative comments about Dr. Landau (although I’m not suggesting their experience is not real). He has done root canals for both me and my wife over the years and is thorough, engaging, and professional. I’ll be going back soon for further work.

This individual was absolutely awful and unprofessional He yelled at my 15 y/o daughter and made her cry. I would not recommend him to anyone. If a patient is afraid of needles, take a little more time and explain step by step what the procedure entails. Just terrible.

Nobody likes a root canal. Dr. Landau made my situation as good as it could be. I can compare my experience with 2 other root canals and other dentists. He is highly competent yet not arrogant. I believe he did a very fine job for me. Office staff is organized friendly competent.

Speed is his priority, not patient comfort. Several patients in different rooms make it obvious that individual attention won't be had. I had stitches removed without any novicaine or warning about the terrible pain it would cause. I was crying and screaming for him to stop, but he just doubled down on his efforts and ignored my pleas. No means no in any scenario. Won't be back even if the work was done well.
