Dr Bucher is by far the best dentist I have ever had. He tells you what to expect when he needs to repair or replace. I have never had to go back for an emergency visit because something he did didn't work as planned. This is such a refreshing change from other dentists I have seen. Although I no longer live in Albany I travel 45 minutes to see him.

Dr. Bucher has a calm and friendly mannerism which put me at ease despite my numerous dental issues. He has the experience to propose various approaches and affordable options. His dental work is pure artistry...beautiful job. I'm very thankful that Dr. Bucher was recommended to me. No more "shopping around".

I have been very thankful for the level of care I've received from Dr. Bucher and his staff. After having a horrible experience with a prior dentist, Dr. Bucher was a breath of sunshine. He brought me into a room to discuss my issues, completed a thorough exam, and then came back to me with a plan of action. He showed me my x-rays and explained everything to me. Anne was extra gentle with me during the x-ray process (I have really sensitive teeth), and Cheryl was very helpful and friendly. I'm so glad that I looked up Dr. Bucher on HealthGrades.

It took me several tries to various dentists in the Albany area, until I found Dr. Bucher, a dentist I can trust with the care and work of my teeth. Dr. Bucher is both professional and personable, but what stands out about him is his attention to the details when doing fillings or crowns. I have been very pleased with the results of both my fillings and crowns that have been done by Dr. Bucher. The staff at the office also reflect his strong work ethic and are friendly as well.

My trek through the dental kingdom began in the 40's (1940's, not in "my" 40's). Terrifying and painful. 25+ years ago, Dr. John arrived on the Albany scene. As a favor to his brother, I visited Dr. John. After explaining my history and anxieties in detail, he needed to do some work and administered a Novocaine shot. "Darned if this guy doesn't give great needle," was my first thought. From that moment forward, Dr. John has been our families dentist. My smile is now a show biz knockout.

I have gone to Dr. Bucher for many years. As a patient with an irrational fear of going to the dentist, since coming to this office I even come in for routine preventative care. The office staff has always been accommodating and friendly. Dr. Boucher and all his dental assistants and hygienists have been caring and professional during the whole time. It is hard to imagine a more professional, experienced and yet up to date and modern practice anywhere else.

Always a great experience visiting Dr. Bucher's office. I have always feared going to the dentist, and my fears were met with comfort and an easy transition as his patient. Laura is friendly, easy to talk with and does an exceptional job. Cheryl and Sue are perfect upfront, and always reach out about a week before the visit as a reminder -which I know I need! I would recommend Dr. Bucher's service and level of treatment to anyone who is looking for the BEST dental care!!
