Dr. Gary Newell, DDS

I worked in dentistry for 12 yrs and made an appt with Dr. Newell to get a very small cavity restored on tooth 11. I was seated and told they were going to take an impression for a fixed bridge on teeth 9 through 11, but I had made an appt only for tooth 11. He was upset because a bridge takes 1.5 hours and he charges 4,500.00 but the restoration I wanted takes 20 min and he charges 225.00. He acted gruff and crabby towards me. Then, when he finished the filling, I told him it needed to be reduced so my flipper fit properly. He told me I couldn't feel the flipper properly because I was numb. BUT, I didn't have any Lidocaine, so I was not numb. I had to leave because I was afraid of what might happen. His head was definately NOT on doing good dentistry for me.

We were told when making the appointment that the dentist participated in my insurance but found out only after having my checkup and teeth cleaning they do not so I was charged full price
